Our Blog!

Hi Family & Friends,

Wade and I thought we would keep everyone up-to-date with our travels in July. When we have Internet access on the road, we will upload pictures and journal about our travels. Below is our agenda for July with hotel/camping information:

  • July 9: Head out to Santa Fe, NM. We will stay July 9 & 10 at the El Dorado Hotel.
  • July 11-14: Camping in the Grand Canyon National Park at the Mather Campground.
  • July 14-21: Wine Country in Santa Barbara County! We will stay July 14th in Lompac, California. July 15-21 we will camp. We have a few locations in mind and will make our decision when we arrive. One possibility is the Jamala Beach Park.
  • July 22: Head to Texas to meet up with Mom & Dad in Alpine on July 23rd.

So I think you are about 10 min. in your trip and I am already looking for comments & pictures...even if it is only of your car on 635. Be safe and I cannot wait to see you in Sante Fe!

Hi all!! We're doing great - no, the kitties are at Mom and Dad's house. Paul, it took us 1.5 hours to get out of DALLAS!!!

Your first few hours in Santa Fe sounded great and the pics were fantastic!

Will your blog count as a publication for you and for Wade? If not, tell your dean that he can expect to hear from your momanddad!

Kitties are doing fine as they seem to be on vacation. Now how many did you leave with us? Just kidding!

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Only a mother whose first grandchildren were puppies and kitties would ask where the "children" were!

Hi! Know you are having a wonderful, relaxing time. Send us a wine country blog on the varieties you find best as you "taste" your way through that part of the country!
All is well here. Will let you know how the bike ride goes.
